title: My Reflections | Winston Faircloth (5)
description: "For many years, I measured my life by what I could achieve. Titles, responsibilities, milestones, and metrics became the compass that guided me forward. And yet, somewhere along the way, the compass needle began to falter. Achievement gave me applause, but not peace. Leadership gave me purpose, but not rest. It was in the stillness of surrender that My Reunion Tour began. Like the prodigal son who finally “came to his senses” and turned toward home (Luke 15:17), I heard God’s quiet invitation: let go of striving, and return to being. This was not a call to abandon my gifts, but to discover them anew in Christ’s presence. This journey has not been easy. To lay down the identity of the tireless achiever is to grieve what once sustained you. But on the other side of release, there is joy. There is laughter again. There is life. “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). My Reunion Tour is both personal and communal. It is the story of my own return, and the invitation for others to join in theirs. It is for executives who find themselves restless at the peak of success, for leaders who sense God is calling them to something deeper, for anyone who longs for a faith that is lived with authenticity and courage. This story is not mine alone. It is ours. And you are welcome to walk it with me. (5)"

# My Reflections
## 1,000+ poems. One photo. One day at a time.
## The journey is made up of many moments. Some shine with clarity, others arrive as soft whispers. Others came as questions or the kind of quiet that feels louder than noise. I started writing in the fall of 2020 — not because I knew what I was doing, but because I needed somewhere to capture what was happening inside of me.
One poem. One photograph. One honest attempt to put language on a transformation I didn't choose and couldn't engineer. Most of them began as letters to God. Some of them began as complaints.
All of them were written in the space between the person I had been and the person I was slowly becoming. These are not polished reflections or poems. They are not a highlight reel.
They are what the journey actually looks like from the inside — valleys and mountaintops alike, ordinary days, and the occasional morning when something shifts and you have to write it down before it disappears. *-- Winston*
You are welcome to linger here. Read slowly. Listen for echoes of your own story in these words. *You're right where you're supposed to be.*
