# Tour Day 920: Rooted

[Winston Faircloth](https://myreuniontour.com/my-reflections/author/winston-faircloth)

 March 15 2025

When the storm winds arrive,

(And they always will...),

It can be too late to prepare

For what is about to unfold.

❤️

The shelter we seek matters.

Some rely on themselves alone

Mistaking rock for shifting sands

Easily swept away as a result.

❤️

This is the story of our pride.

From Adam to today.

Believing the self-made myth.

Hardening our hearts & minds.

❤️

For You made us for one another

To uplift the broken, lonely, poor.

For apart from You, we are but dust

Let me cling, seek shelter only,

In Your Arms, completely

Rooted.
