# Tour Day 947: Slow
[Winston Faircloth](https://myreuniontour.com/my-reflections/author/winston-faircloth)
June 27 2025
The incessant beat of life
Threatens to divert us
From the path You built
The Purpose You want.
❤️
Resistance is needed
Surrender, required.
Distractions abound
With Your Help, vanquished.
❤️
Your Desire is clear.
Leave the safe, take this step.
An Adventure awaits,
Unknowable in advance.
❤️
Trusting. Obeying.
Watching it all unfold.
When I want to move fast,
You ask me to pause and go
Slow.
