As followers of the One, they waited

He turned their ideas upside down

For many who sought power and might

His Kingdom was of service, not a crown.

His message, His life here was confusing

For it can be hard to hear or see

Our minds made up, with great certainty

Disappointed, we nailed Him to a tree.

For nothing is more dangerous

Than those who believe they are right

Incapable of following the obvious

Tangible stories hidden from their sight.

Could He have been more plain spoken?

When He told us the last are always first

Greatest commands are not just the ten

Loving God & others, bless them - not to curse.

❤️

For in His Sight, ALL His children precious

None called illegal, beaten, nor shoved

His gaze of Love, our duty to share

All people, all different, are His

Beloved.
