The path back home
When we were once so far away
Fills us with thoughts, terrifying
Begins with one step, today.
❤️
After decades or just a season
Wandering, hurting, or lost
We hardly recognize who we are
Regrets come at too great a cost.
❤️
Yet, behind the walls we built
Its so lonely and dark inside
We finally come to our senses
To seek what we have denied.
❤️
To surrender and trust again
Crossed a bridge not burned
Remember, release are but two steps
Becoming ourselves again, is all about
Return.
