In our culture 

We are taught 

Self-reliance is best. 

Depending on others is 

A sign of weakness.

And we wonder 

Why this is such a

A lonely time 

For so many people.  

This is not Your Way.

A solo pursuit 

May seem virtuous at first,

Yet it lacks wise perspective of

Someone who has 

Already walked your path. 

**

If we will but notice 

How God brings us together 

In the most 

Unexpected ways.  

Knowing who we will

Need years in advance.

Today, take note of 

Those He brought near.  

Not an accident. 

Part of His Plan.
