Tour Day 723. Acceptance

So much of our struggles 

Come from life not turning out

How we thought it should 

With unmet expectations. 

**

In big ways and small

Our plans can be frustrated. 

Leaving us grasping 

For answers 

That may never come. 

**

Other times

The expectations we

Have are about ourselves. 

Leading to regrets and 

Constant self-critical talk. 

**

Perhaps, someday

I will learn that I do not

Control even my 

Little corner of the universe. 

**

Instead, I will surrender 

Even my desire to know

How it will all turn out 

Or even why it happened at all. 

**

The path to Trust. 

Begins with Faith. 

As my ego learns to let go. 

Instead a new Way unfolds. 

Where Love > Fear through 

Acceptance.
