In our culture 

We are taught 

Self-reliance is best. 

Depending on others is 

A sign of weakness.

And we wonder 

Why this is such a

A lonely time 

For so many people.  

This is not Your Way. 

**

A solo pursuit 

May seem virtuous at first,

Yet it lacks wise perspective of

Someone who has 

Already walked your path. 

**

If we will but notice 

How God brings us together 

In the most 

Unexpected ways.  

Knowing who we will

Need years in advance.  

**

Today, take note of 

Those He brought near.  

Not an accident. 

Part of His Plan. 

Together, we walk as 

Friends
