There often is a thrill

In the pursuit of more. 

When we measure

By what the world adores.

We like to set big goals. 

Plan the next great leap. 

Overcome deep hardships.  

Reach the mountain peak. 

**

These are the stories

That legends celebrate. 

Yet, there is another Path. 

We should likely elevate.  

**

One where contentment

And Peace rules the day. 

Where our Presence is more 

Valuable than whatever we say.  

**

Next time we are questioned

About what we need the most 

We can enjoy, and savor time

With Father, Son, Holy Ghost. 

**

For striving is the sure path of 

Endlessly seeking more stuff. 

Yet, in You we experience

How we have more than 

Enough.
