Wave after wave of lies

Battering our defenses

In hopes we someday give in

But we will not.

For despite all odds

No matter the pundits

A flame still dwells

Our faith unshaken.

From friend or foe alike 

Despite the diagnosis 

This is not the final Word.

Everyone has their battle 

One we cannot always see

Victory awaits those who trust
