So much of human suffering

Stems from what we believe

We begin life lightly

Without ideas preconceived.

Our imagination is a gift

Crafting our life’s visions and dreams. 

Used unwisely it can amplify

Our deepest fears or screams.

Stuck in past stories or 

An unlikely future plan

We miss this day, this chance

To serve our fellow man. 

❤️

When life seems uncertain or 

Roars at breakneck pace.

We rest. We pause. We savor. 

Not by works, we receive Your

Grace.
