Destination is set 

A new adventure awaits 

The time is close to fly.

Preparation has begun 

Suitcases packed 

Checklists reviewed.

Taken out the trash? 

Paid back what I owe others?

Said my goodbyes?

Leaving is so bittersweet 

Arriving is such great joy

One day it will be my turn

Until then, I keep my lists short
