When we stop 

Long enough to 

Consider all the times

You were near 

Our hearts leap.

Especially in 

Those darkest days. 

When hope seemed distant 

And time stopped still. 

**

Looking back, we see 

How ALL things 

Both peaks and valleys 

Prepare us for later.  

**

And sometimes 

Takes us in new directions. 

This is Your Mystery 

Not our will, but Yours. 

**

So as we meet this 

New difficult challenge

Let us recall Your Graces. 

Facing uncertain futures. 

This we are invited to 

Ponder.
